N+1 Fork (Glamsterdam)

• Need to support blobs
• devnet-1 fell over in 3 epochs
• Get data columns and range sync PRs in progress and hopefully review this week
• alpha.4 specs turned on
• Proposer preferences spec needs to be built on spec
• p2p builder integration
• unknown block sync will be complex and might take some time to debug
• still working on network process workflows
• ...long list of stuff still to build
• Rahul pushed EIP-8061 spec PR and spec tests

Non-Fork Protocol Features

Fast Confirmation Rule

• PR is ready for review
• Tuyen and Matt will review
• spec bug getting fixed this week

• need to get lodestar on website

Partial Messages & Cell-Level DAS

• working on full feature parity with lighthouse and prysm
• libp2p spec was merged
• consensus spec is under review and will be merged soon

Binary Engine API (SSZ all the things)

• Have two PRs up, eternal contributor is more complete but more verbose.
• What is the status of the spec? Need to push this forward before we really get this merged.
• Bing is pushing this forward
• Bing will get Matt the Discord thread and spec info and Matt will create meeting in ethereum/pm repo to push forward in a cross-team process

• no real movement this week
• Getting closer to implementation PRs

Other Features

BLST

• fixed zapi memory leak
• async aggregations suffering a bit on sas group
• Nazar will look into the JS impl changes on BLS worker pool and passing validator index through so can pull deserialized key directly from the cache

Flat-Files for Data-Columns

• no movement this week
• will re-engage and try to get this moving again this week
• ready for review by @lodekeeper. will let soak and do a metrics analysis when we are ready
• ready for redeploy on a feat group

Zig Roadmap

• Rahul implemented Gloas in state-transition and is passing spec tests
• getting close to feature complete with fork-choice as based on unstable
• will add more tests for fork-choice
• started perf testing but needs to be more robust
• started Peer Manager design will start coding this coming week
• roughing out the full LodestarZ
• Stuff to get done before can merge state-transition-z
  • Need to add CLI flag for beacon state view in lodestar
  • Need to finalize/test the publish workflow
  • Need to freshen the zig side of the BeaconStateView interface to match the JS side
