Trying to integrate Figma MCP through python script

I am trying to integrate as a POC for one shot using a script rather than through code editor.
I am stuck as running in /mcp mode I am unable to get a proper session ID , I tried using /sse to get session ID. Even after that /mcp reports invalid sessionID.

Is this project strictly for code editor in agent mode ?

You probably need to set your Python project up as an MCP client in order to consume the endpoints properly. I'm not certain though.

The /mcp and /sse endpoints are for two different protocols, so I'm not surprised they don't work with the same ID. The future of the protocol is going to be via Streamable HTTP, which is hosted at the /mcp endpoint. The MCP protocol docs might be helpful in figuring out how to interface with it.
