Rye Binaries Available Now

Since not everybody knows Rust or has a toolchain, there are now experimental binaries available. For installation instructions have a look at the installation guide.

There are a few important differences to how this worked before:

• Rye now installs itself into ~/.rye/shims
• If you installed rye with cargo in the past, please first run cargo uninstall rye
• Rye can now self update with rye self update to the latest release binary and can uninstall with rye self uninstall.
• Rye expects shims on the path now and adds a new env file that can be sourced to do so. Add a variation of this to your shell startup: source ~/.rye/env.
