everything BUT 'swap window to right' shortcut working

As the title says, swap window to left, up, down works but right doesn't work (super shift + right), using a laptop

other shortcuts involving the right key (super + right) works so the key itself seems fine and I also used wev to check if the keystrokes are okay but I can't seem to find anything wrong.

plugging in an external keyboard works, so seems to do with my laptop's keyboard. Any ideas on debugging this issue?
(laptop is a lenovo thinkpad E14 G3, no indication of a special shortcut or functional keys on the right arrow btw)
