How to only allow Maps access internet when the app is on the foreground?

So when the app is closed or minimised, all traffic should be blocked.

Not yet implemented, so you can only reuse Android's settings to suppress app - battery settings: put to restricted, so it's suppressed, and then data settings: disabled background data access. But, even as per AOSP that doesn't guarantee the app won't access internet. You can though try your chances with Tasker etc

Not really, as I need the actual opposite for a specific app!
