Enhancing : Meta description contains special chars

The auto generated Meta-Description contains exact special chars from posts. It should be eliminated in Meta tags.

When creating the bugs report please include the details as in the issue template, and not all of them can be categorized as bugs, sometimes they are as intended.

htmly will only remove the html tags for this meta description. If you run the latest htmly version and still found eg.

Try to edit the post and remove current meta description and save it.

Currently before creating the auto generated description, htmly will convert it to html first and then strip the html tag before save it to the file.
