Xaml Editor binding drops to one way on release mode on iOS

I have an app that uses an editor bound to a field in the view model. Everything works fine in .net9. In .net10, it works fine in debug mode. Once you run it in release mode, it acts like it switches to one way mode. If there is existing text in the field, it displays. Any changes you make to the text in the Editor are not pushed back to the field. I even handled the text changed event, and it didn't seem that it would get the text from the control. Any suggestions on what I might be able to do to get around this?
