How do you use IWE? #249

hi @aledoroshenko , Thanks for starting the discussion. "Attach action" is a shortcut which does two things
I have a couple hotkeys in my editor mapped to LSP actions, I can extract a note with one hotkey press and add it to "today" with another hotkey. Usually, I write markdown in an "index" file, usually starting from a header, add some content to it. Then extract it and add to a target file such as "inbox", "today", etc. IWE is hierarchical graph management tool and doesn't impose any structure. It's up to you do decide what organization works best for the problem you are trying to solve. I use for two main use case
Disclaimer: Both graphs are mostly AI generated, (excluding source material) and created for demo purposes. |

Thanks for the examples, looks like i understood the flow correctly. Looking at the default "Attach" action i made something for myself, "Attach to..." with Telescope, having approach "write in a daily note, extract to an atomic note, attach it to a topic or MOC note". Coming from Tana i'm trying to find the quickest way to setup relationships between sets of smaller notes, and not sure would it work with files, not "blocks". I assume the tool welcomes bigger files with internal structure (headers). |

Reading the docs and config examples, i understand the happy path. We write notes, extract to new ones, build connections and hierarchy. But for example "Attach to daily note", or "Attach to project ideas", is it some real use cases? To be able to run it, it should be link, right? I can't just take a note and attach it to daily. So, you must have notes as links (some index?) and then "attach"?
Would love to know more about your daily flows and actions you have.
