There is no spatial limit and it should be a good model out to many tens of kpc (or even hundreds of kpc). There definitely should not be strange features in the orbits. Maybe you could send an example? Note that you can drag figures into GitHub comment boxes to make them appear. |

Dear prof. Bovy and community
I wanna know if there is a spatial limit of MWPotential2014. When I was simulating the trajectories in the galaxy of an object that is more than ten kpc far away, I found out that there were some truncation (or leaps) in its trajectories not changing regularly as expected.
