import/export started by web url?

is there a way to start an import or an export by a link in the web gui, or is it only possible by cron or by container shell?

Hi,

if you have Set up the Cron Function and configured the jobs in the UI, you can always start them by hitting the run next checkbox in the table view of the Jobs.

Would it be possible for cmdbsyncer to respond to webhooks from netbox so that an import sync is triggered from Netbox? At the same time, it would be interesting to know whether this could also trigger an export to checkmk downstream.

Hi, yes, I will build this soon since a consumer requested it.
It's in fact no big deal, just an endpoint that can set run_once_next for a given job_id.

This will immediately trigger the job the next time cron triggers syncer run_jobs
