Get Custom Objects associated with device in script

From this discussion, I know how to get a devices associated with custom objects: #341

However, how do I go about it the other way? I know a device and want to list all of the custom objects associated with it.

I would expect to be able to do something like this:

device_object = Device.objects.get(name="a_switch")
device_object.get_custom_objects()

You can do it with custom_fields:

device_object.get_custom_fields()
