Nuxt: Using i18n with different subdomains/apps?

Hey guys,

I have a Nuxt application that uses multiple layers. The structure is like this:

apps/firstApp (first.domain.com)
apps/secondApp (second.domain.com)
apps/thirdApp
packages/core

The user logs into the firstApp, I set the language of the user profile with setLocale - to spanish for example. The language code is stored in the i18n_redirected cookie. Then he can navigate to the secondApp.

Now the second App is in English again. Surely it is because the first cookie is stored for first.domain.com and second.domain.com can not access it.

I want to avoid using a middleware now and fetch the language all the time, causing an api call. Is there any option that when I set the language for the first app, the second app will also use that language?

My four Nuxt configs look like this:

It would be great if anyone has experience and can help out here.

I figured out it seems to work with this config:

      useCookie: true,
      cookieKey: 'i18n_redirected',
      cookieDomain: '.domain.com',
      alwaysRedirect: true

So I needed to remove the cookieSecure: true.
