Hi, This usually happens when the verification system detects that the file was converted or altered. Since your school only provides transcripts as PDFs, the best option is: Submit the PDF directly if the upload form allows it (GitHub accepts PDF as proof). If you must convert, avoid editing — just export to JPG/PNG using a trusted tool (like your OS’s built-in “Print to PDF/Image” or screenshot function). Make sure your name, school name, and a current date are clearly visible. If it still gets rejected, open a GitHub Education support ticket |

Hi everyone,
Im having trouble getting my education account approved. It keeps getting denied based on "image appears to be edited." I think this is happening because the images im downloading (transcripts) are PDFs so I have to convert them to JPGs to submit. Unfortunately, the website providing the transcripts does not allow a different download option. What should I do?
