Official Responses vs. Community RepliesCurrently, there isn’t a tag or setting that guarantees your question will be answered by an official GitHub Copilot team member. Discussions here are community-driven, and GitHub staff may choose to reply, but it’s not guaranteed. How to Increase Visibility
Bottom LineThere’s no process to ensure only official team replies, but posting in the correct Copilot discussion area and providing detailed context gives the best chance of visibility from GitHub staff. |

On GitHub’s Community Discussions or Copilot Discussions, there isn’t a way to guarantee that an official Copilot team member will answer. Most responses come from the community. Even if GitHub staff reply, it’s not something you can force with a tag. Here are the official channels if you want a guaranteed response from the GitHub Copilot team: GitHub Support Go to GitHub Support Contact Choose Copilot under the product list. This ensures your ticket is seen by GitHub staff. Enterprise / Organization Customers If your Copilot access is via GitHub Enterprise, you can open a support ticket through your organization’s admin. These get routed directly to GitHub’s official support. Docs feedback On docs.github.com |

of course with the tremendous amount coming in, not every query or concern can be addressed by the GitHub Staff, they may see some and answer or those who have gained traction like a lot commented having same concern, request, etc., as far as I know, back then you can ping them but I guess it's discontinued because I'm not seeing it anymore |

Hi! Here’s the clarification: A few tips to increase the chance of an official response: Direct support – for guaranteed official responses, you can submit a ticket via GitHub Support. This is the official channel for Copilot-related issues and questions. So, while Discussions are mostly community-driven, the official support route is your only way to guarantee a Copilot team response. Hope this finds you well |

Hi, I’d like to know if there’s a way to ensure that a question posted here will be answered by official GitHub Copilot team members (not just community replies). Is there any tag, process, or channel to make this clear?
