Hi Team,

I am waiting for Github's sponsorship approval for over 10 days. Can you please help me know status if there is anything pending from my end. I am getting worried because I see post where some people are waiting for over 6 months for this. Only when I have this approval , I can release an open source project which has deadline of Dec 10th.

Hey!
The waiting time for GitHub Sponsors approval can vary a lot, and unfortunately it has been slower for some users recently. Ten days is still within the normal review window, but since you have a hard deadline coming up, it makes sense to check in.

A couple things you can do:

• Open a ticket with GitHub Support https://support.github.com/ and mention your upcoming Dec 10th deadline.
• Make sure all required info is complete in your Sponsors profile. Missing pieces sometimes hold applications in “review” without showing a clear warning.

Sadly, there’s no public way for us to check your application’s status from here, a support ticket is usually the only reliable way to get someone from the Sponsors team to manually inspect your case.
