Hi everyone! I'm Sohaib, a full-stack JS developer (React/Node/Next.js), interested in the netjsongraph.js GSoC 2026 project. |

Hi everyone, I'm Prince Kumar, interested in contributing to OpenWISP for GSoC 2026. I recently submitted a PR fixing duplicate check creation and async handling in openwisp-monitoring: While working on it, I got familiar with Django models, Celery tasks, Docker setup, and CI debugging. I'm exploring the "time-series database clients" idea and had a couple of questions:
I'll keep contributing and learning in parallel. Would appreciate any guidance |

In recent weeks, several similar questions have been raised by new GSoC contributors, which has made it harder to keep discussions efficient and focused.
For this reason, I am creating this thread as a single place where newcomers can ask questions and clarify doubts. Any new threads on the same topics may be closed and redirected here.
Please follow these general guidelines to help keep collaboration smooth and productive:
Thank you for your cooperation and interest in contributing to OpenWISP.
Please keep in mind that due to the volume of interested participants, we won't be able to always respond in a timely manner.
Let's stick to questions or feedback, please let's avoid replying with "thank you" or other replies that add no value to the discussion, such messages will be deleted to avoid generating needless noise.
