BDD has been around for more than 20 years now, however, we still don't know what actually works.

How do teams actually maintain their scenarios as code evolves?
What real-world challenges aren't covered in the textbooks?
How do successful teams keep specs in sync with fast-moving codebases?

We, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) & University of Sannio, Italy are conducting a research study to capture the current state of BDD application in practice.
