Hi,
I'm taking a full stack web development course on Udemy and the instructor, Dr. Angela Yu, presented a tutorial on how to move files and folders from my computer to the repository that I've already created. I'm completely new to this process so apologize in advance for any errors in communicating what is going on.
I'm using a Chromebook with Chrome OS Version 133.0.6943.184 (Official Build) (64-bit). Linux is enabled on the Chromebook for web development.
Dr. Yu's method of moving folders and files is to drag and drop them. I think that she is using either an Apple or a Windows based system. However, I am unable to drag and drop folders but it appears that the repository will accept files. Here are my questions:
--Should I create folders in the repository with the same name as on my system and then drag and drop individual files into those folders?
--If creating folders and putting the files into them isn't the way to move the required information, how do I copy these folders from my system to the repository?
I checked and haven't found any discussions here that seem to address my problem. I also did some online research about how to do this and found a lot of information that confused me so I decided to ask here in hopes of a less confusing solution.
I hope that what I wrote above makes sense and again apologize for my lack of knowledge about what to say and how to say it to be understood.
Any help that you can share would be very appreciated.
Thank you.
Susan
