hi @philibertc i have a piazzetta ph185 with a micronova i038 (a little old) i buyed the circuit and progammed the esp , i can send the power on command , but i cannot read any data from the stove , i cheched (with external 5v to seriala adapter) that the Read command is sent to the stove but the stove dident reply.
do you have any solution or idea?

just for the record : now work everithing :
first problems: i used only the serial connector , so i used 2 step down voltage converte for 5vdc and 3.3 vdc , i need tho chenge the 500 ohm resistor on the stove serial line with 1k resistor , maybe would be better something around 2k .
second problem : the d3 dosent go to 0v i needed to capture waveform with oscilloscope to understand , thena i read the possibility to use d1 with extra resistor, jumper and trace cut as per pcb info

Hi Daniele, I have the same problem as you on a Superior Sonia stove (Piazzetta group), which I have not yet been able to solve.. could you give me some more information?

Did you always take the power supply from the external serial connecter of the stove? I’ve seen that nothing changes if I connect to the serial connecter with a step down or directly to the board taking the 5v.. the heater always receives only the on or off command, everything else doesn’t work.

hi Symon , did you try to ude d1 insted of d3 for serial rx? you shoud solder an extra resistor , solder two pads togheter and cut another pad
