As noticed in #10702, wrapping a SpinBox in a TouchArea, will change its layout. And doing so inside a ListView with the Qt backend, will render the items on top of each other (btw: also happens with CheckBox & FocusScope).
While I'm pretty sure, the latter is a bug, I wonder if the changes in layout might be intentional. So I decided to start this discussion before making a bug report.
Consider this example:
Here the Text is laid out in 3 different ways. To me this looks like a bug. A wrapper-component should not alter the Layout!
On the other hand... TouchArea contains the word Area. So maybe it's not meant as a wrapper, and is behaving as expected.
Can someone clarify this? Is the effect on layout intended or not?
If it is intended: Why? Wouldn't it be better to be layout-transparent?
