Workflow for Atlas Development

All Atlas development should be done in forks. See Working with forks

1. Create a fork of Atlas that will be owned by you.
2. In your fork, create a branch to work on.
3. When your branch is ready for release, create a PR in the main Atlas repository. Press "compare across forks" to select the branch of your fork you wish to release.
4. Once the PR is approved, your branch will be merged onto the main branch of Atlas.
5. Periodically, you will need to "sync" your fork with the main repository. See Keeping a fork up to date.

You can also sync your fork through GitHub. There is a "Sync fork" button on the right near the "About" section.
