Just a heads up that the current base image alpine:3.17.7 reached End-of-Life on 2024-11-22 as per the https://alpinelinux.org/releases/. This means it will no longer receive security patches, leaving the provider image exposed to unpatched vulnerabilities.

Could we prioritize getting this merged?
