Block resource for selection

Is it possible to block the selection option in a resource? I want to nest the resource in groups and block the select option for the group, not the user. Selectable works only for entire view ??

Currently there is only selectConstraint implemented in EventCalendar and you need something like selectAllow. I will implement it in the future versions of EventCalendar.
