Status of the 4.0.0 Milestone

Hi everyone 👋

While reviewing the 4.0.0 milestone, I noticed that most of the associated issues are several years old (many from 2018–2019), with only a few more recent ones.

I’m wondering if there’s still an intention to pursue this milestone or if plans have changed and 4.0.0 is no longer actively being worked toward. If it’s no longer on the roadmap, would it make sense to close the milestone or reconsider its scope?

Happy to help move things forward if there’s still interest, even if it’s just triaging the existing tickets. I just wanted to start a conversation about it.
