Bug with custom filters in 0.2

In the new beta, custom filters show up more than once and get repeated when you do different things in the app. Also, the on/off button in the sidebar for custom filters only shows that it's off when it's on.

You are right; this is a pretty significant bug. I will try to fix this for the next alpha and update this thread when it gets fixed.

This should be fixed in d3ab093. The next release will reflect this fix.

@TheKivster @0xCUB3 How do you even access your custom filters? I am using 0.2 beta (Testflight), I have added a few of my own via the plus icon in the menu bar. But I do not see any custom filters in the wBlock app window. I tried restarting, and I am viewing both enabled and disabled filters. Is this a bug or am I looking in the wrong place?

They're listed between the experimental filter and the foreign filters. When you add a filter, click the Apply button to the left of the plus button in the menu bar, and your custom filters should show there.

For some reason it didn't register the URLs I entered, I am not sure if there is some syntax that I don't understand, but I tried some other straight https://url (with no fancy tricks like ## or []) and at least that worked. I hope it will be possible to view and edit an added custom filter at some point.

@andylundqvist I recommend trying the new TestFlight (different from the one from v0.2). The logic for URL imports is a bit more robust, though still not perfect.

Please fully uninstall the previous version from your Mac (and from testflight) and install this one: https://testflight.apple.com/join/F93erUGR
