Config updates in `repository_directory` but not propagated to cloned experiment repos

When configuration files in repository_directory are updated (eg, config.yaml), the changes are not reflected in already-cloned experiment repositories under the test path. As a result, cloned repos may run with outdated configurations, even though the source repository_directory has been updated.
