To address the scalability limitations of the previous monolithic LAMMPS-centric architecture, this refactor introduces a generic Core-Plugin design that decouples orchestration and data conversion logic from specific simulation engines, allowing seamless integration of future engines (e.g., ABACUS, CP2K) while maintaining full backward compatibility via legacy interface wrappers.
