Closing — FluentAssertions 8.x is a major version bump from 6.x with significant breaking API changes (new assertion syntax, removed/renamed methods, different BeEquivalentTo behavior). Our test suite uses FluentAssertions extensively and would require a dedicated migration effort.

Additionally, this branch is stale and doesn't include the HP encapsulation fix from PR #789, causing 6 build errors.

Recommendation: open a separate issue to track the FluentAssertions v8 migration as a planned upgrade with proper test adaptation.
