BCP not handle serverside connection closures

Describe the bug

When working with subscriptions we noticed that once the serverside channel is closed (for example, stopping the project that runs on localhost (chillicream workshop - #7) we noticed that the ‘run’ button keeps spinning.
Does BCP not handle serverside connection closures or is there some special event we need to trigger?

Steps to reproduce

1. Use Chillicream workshop - Schema Document Parser and Lexer #7
2. Start project
3. Make subscription in BCP
4. Stop project
5. BCP still think its connected
