v4 installs fine but v5 doesn't execute on MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.5

Trying Circuitscape for the first time and am fine working with version 4, which installed easily, as I learn to use the software but version 5 never completes the installation. The diskimage starts and goes through verification process and when I approve opening the app, the icon in the dock bounces a few times as it initializes and then disappears.

Hi @ruminatus I haven't gotten the time recently to maintain the UI, could you install Julia and add Circuitscape as a package? You can copy an INI file from the tests and modify it and then run your problem.

We should remove the UI binaries, move out of beta and update the instructions to download Julia and the package.
