Since this is my only way to contact you, can you help me with the implementation?
We have our server (purpur) and website (laravel on xampp) running on a laptop but im kinda noob with this stuff.

ok, progress, i think i got it, or something, but i guess it's not connecting to the stats? it just appears 'player'

can you give me your html example? would be better for me to understand it, do i need to build the table?

Hi, I'm on my phone right now so it's a bit hard to check, but I believe you only need a <table> element (might need to give it an id).

I would suggest looking at the demo page (which I forgot to include in the readme, I just noticed) https://www.dantevg.nl/mods-plugins/WebStats/demo/ with devtools. (let me know if you need more help with that).

Can you verify that the plugin is working correctly by visiting IP:PORT/stats.json and checking that it does contain the data?

Okay, I think the web page is working then. It does not display players that do not have any scores, and since there are no scores coming from the Minecraft server it does not display anything.

Do you have the default config file? And do you have data in the ingame scoreboard? (checkable with /scoreboard setdisplay sidebar and seeing if any suggestions pop up, if you didn't know)

so, it's empty and ofc it dsnt show anything right? so, i need to add objectives to the scoreboard in order it appears in the .html file?

i changed the 'Active Play Minutes' to 'player' (just like your example) btw, nothing changed too

i think im missing the database configuration... do i need to conect to it? cuz i don't get it how it will conect to all the stats without it :D

I mean the config file of the plugin, located at /plugins/WebStats/config.yml but I guess that means you have the default one (if you haven't changed it, all scoreboard objectives it finds will be visible in the webpage.

For the command, I meant to say to press tab to see the suggestions. If you don't have a plugin or datapack that provides any scoreboard objectives, the table will be empty. (I probably should have made that clear in the readme). I suggest using the vanillatweaks track raw statistics datapack, that is where "deaths" and "mine diamond" from the demo come from.

Once you have scoreboard objectives (or placeholder data), you can use the sortBy option to change by which column is sorted initially (before you click on the column headers)

A database is entirely optional and is only for when you have another plugin that uses a database to store its info. If you just want to display the scoreboard, you don't need a database and you could essentially ignore the config.yml file.

In your screenshot of the config file, it looks like you don't have two spaces before the '%factions_... (that is needed). If you only want to see placeholders you can ignore my comments about vanillatweaks and the scoreboard command

i also want some vanilla statistics

my idea was to display all player info, all the data stored, so i guess i will need the database later.
I mean, not "all" data, number of completed objectives, deaths, mob kills, here is my initial order:

Player name || faction name || faction player power || kills || deaths || mob kills || mcmmo rank (swords) || mcmmo rank (minig) || advancements number

anyway, i will install the 'Track Raw Statistics', let's see :D

It displays some stuff from the beginning of the "capture" of that raw statistics, right? so, i think i don't need the raw statistics at all. how can i display the entire mob kills from the start of the server? perhaps with placeholder?

its just fascinating how this works, perfect :D

That's one of the unfortunate things of the datapack. I'm not familiar with what placeholders are available, but if you know the current statistics for each of the players I believe you can set them manually since the datapack stores the statistics in the scoreboard (would recommend the scoreboard command wiki page for that)

some issues i found:

• My player is duplicated
• some stats are retrieving NaN (maybe because this is a live stat thing? i might need the database now, right?

The plugin should work perfectly fine without any database configuration (you can configure it if you want more statistics sources).
Those look like bugs on my end. If you want to help, could you maybe take a look at the raw data again (the ip:port/stats.json thing) and see if you're also duplicated there and if you see NaNs there?

It also looks like not all skin images are loading, or do they all have the Steve skin ingame?

It's duplicated, but in the online status list only appear one time. is that what u talking about?

About the NaN's, i see 10 'NaNVyAA' in the code (full code here )

The avatars must be about having the server in offline mode, it's ok, i don't really mind having 100 steves :D, and i guess its impossible to fix this for offline servers? unless it captured the skin from skinrestore? too much work to do it anyway :D

Also, some suggestions:

• Possibility to order the table as we want (always player first ofc, but alphabetically or ordered in the config file)
• Option to tick 'see online players or not' (ticking this would only display online players [no shit sherlock] i think this could be doable with js)

Thanks for sharing the raw data, it helps me a lot in understanding the causes.

I tracked down the source of the NaNs: I previously only handled numbers, so the web front end tries to see everything as a number. (easily fixable)

The name in the online status list cannot be duplicated because it is in key-value format, however in the list of entries it is duplicated I see. I don't yet have a clue where the duplication is coming from, but it should be easy to remove the duplicates.

About the avatars, it gets them from mc-heads.net so players without a Mojang account will not have their avatar shown (I believe that is how it works)

Unfortunately, I can only fix the bugs in about 2 weeks (when I have access to a normal computer again).
In the meantime, you can change line 64 of Display.js to td.innerText = value (I don't know if this works correctly as I cannot test, this will have the side-effect of not having separating thousands commas or dots anymore)

About the suggestions (thank you for these by the way!)

• I'm not really sure I understand what you mean by the ordering. You can set the sortBy column option in the web page, if you set it to money for instance, the players with the most money appear first (or last). Is that what you mean?
• the online player filter toggle is a very nice idea, I'll open an issue for it

oh, it's okay, you are the one doing a huge favor for the community, take your time.

by ordering i mean the table columns, we should be able to order as we want (by default its sorted alphabetically right?)
for example, in config:

Column-order:

• 'Player'

• 'Faction Name'

• 'Money'

  etc
