I just tested vid_stereobuffer 1 in Quake (Enhanced), Xonotic 0.8.6 and latest and was pleasantly surprised it worked with my NVIDIA 3D Vision setup (emitter, glasses and driver 425.31 with an RTX 2080 Ti) and it looks fantastic! Though I had to wear the glasses upside down because the eyes were swapped. Is there a way to swap left and right views with a cvar or something?

and are there more depth adjustments like separation and convergence?
Infinity is at screen depth, so there's only popout and nothing goes in deeper than the screen. 🤔
