Make ]Locate -Replace Link-aware

I will sometimes use ]Locate with the -Replace option to make changes across my namespace. But when I am building that system entirely with Link, it does not detect that I've made changes with programs like ]Locate. Might we add some Link awareness to ]Locate so that when linked objects are changed it also notifies Link so that the connected text files are updated at the same time?
