FWIW you can already implement this using the execute service (or any service where you use javascript) on Android, don't think it works with Apple products though.

Example:

tap_action:
  # Eg. 1: Vibrate for 100 ms, pause for 50 ms, vibrate for 100 ms
  - service: floorplan.execute
    service_data:
      test_haptics: |
        >
        navigator.vibrate([100, 50, 100]);
        return;

  # Eg. 2: Vibrate for 200 ms

    service_data:
      test_haptics: |
