Moonscraper Not Launching on Arch Linux

I've been having issues for a while now where the Linux release of Moonscraper fails to launch a window. Running the command through terminal generates the output

Player.log contains a single line: Desktop is 0 x 0 @ 0 Hz

Additionally, all attempts to cancel the program via a keyboard interrupt fail. To terminate the program I need to send a kill signal.

This is happening in both the AUR version of Moonscraper as well as when trying to run from the untarred release.

OS is Arch Linux running hyprland version 0.53.3

I've got the same issue. It seems to be broken when launching in Wayland, but it works if you launch it under XWayland by setting the SDL_VIDEODRIVER=x11 environment variable or if you use a regular X11 desktop session.
