End call button dysfunctional in notification bar when app is removed from recents during call

How did you install the app?

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Dial in any number.
2. Press home button and remove app from recents.
3. Now try to end call from notification bar or try opening Phone app to end call.

Expected behavior

Pressing "end call" from notifications should end the call and reopening Phone app again after removing it from recents (while call is ongoing) should display the ongoing call screen and option to end call.

Actual behavior

End call button is unresponsive and opening Phone app shows dialer, contacts etc just like we are about to make a new call. The ongoing call interface is nowhere to be found. Ongoing call can still be heard and not ended except by turning on flight mode. App freezes in the process. Also timer keeps running after ending this call by flight mode.

Now you've changed the title in a way, that it says nothing. Please just set "End call button dysfunctional in notification bar when app is removed from recents during call".

That bug seems to be a bit random. I wasn't able to reproduce it by your steps, however few times I encountered similar problem.

Can someone reproduce it, maybe with different steps? If so, please comment here how you encountered this bug.

I think it was an OS issue, the bug has gone.
GrapheneOS Android 14 Pixel 8.
