annoying problem #5512

I suggested to my friend that he use the HMCL launcher to play Minecraft, as he wanted to play it. However, he couldn't run HMCL version 3.10.0.319 on his 32-bit Windows 7 machine. I suspect the problem is likely due to the lack of a suitable Java version installed on his machine. Please provide me with the optimal Java version to ensure the launcher works correctly on his machine If the problem lies elsewhere, please let me know |

Currently, the latest version of HMCL requires Java 17 or later. Due to JEP 449 and JEP 479, if your friend's operating system is 32-bit, the latest LTS version they can use is Java 21. Due to Oracle and other OpenJDK vendors no longer actively providing 32-bit support, the options for Java 21 Windows 32-bit builds are limited. Another point to note is Minecraft's system requirements. Starting with Java Edition 1.20.5, Minecraft requires Java 21 and a 64-bit operating system. This means your friends will likely only be able to play versions 1.20.4 and earlier. In summary, I recommend that your friend install BellSoft Liberica JDK 17 & 8.
Wishing your friend success in running HMCL. Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions. |

Look here, my friend. I just tried changing the environment variables to make it work in Arabic. It worked perfectly. I think it just needs to fix a few minor bugs. |
