SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to theclient #242
Description
Hi,
I installed a Debian 10 (Kernel 4.19.0.6) lamp and hackademic from GitHub (Apache 2.4.38, PHP 7.3.4.2, MySQL 8.0.18).
Hackademic started the Installation process but didn`t create the config.inc.php, so I created. And i had to create the database, the user and the privileges in MySQL.
If I try to connect (with existing config.inc.php), the server answers as mentioned above.
The db-user logs in, by command line "msql", but hackademic doesn`t want to, although it uses the same user/password. I tried the same with root (to ensure all rights) with the same result.
Is there anywhere someone who can help?
