[BUG] Mysterious segfault with file transmission discovered in FileTransmission.Upload test on Mac OS #3258
Description
The test got interrupted by a segfault:

Found on dev branch for 1.6.0.
No information was possible to be extracted.
An attempted reproduction on clang/linux and clang/macos with address sanitizer didn't ship any results - the test passes and no errors are reported. Need to investigate.
