[Bug]: spotify module not working

Description

had a working personalized waybar layout, updated my dots to latest dev commit and spotify module isn't working anymore. i tried changing it to mediaplayer but that doesn't work either. what to do?

Expected Behavior

for the spotify module to show my playing music.

Actual Behavior

nothing shows up in the pill.

it is fixed with the commit. do i still need to provide the files?

no need. but maybe give a try with the new custom/mediaplayer which uses playerctl and might dynamically select a default player.

yeah I'm using that now since last night. i changed it to mediaplayer then forgot to change it back to Spotify and i don't see any change immediately so I'll just keep the newer and better one.
