How to make my Dp-1 my primary screen

i made workspaces 1 2 3 on dp-1 but still games bug cuz they start in 1080p which is the HDMIA-A-1 resolution and dp-1 is in 2k so how to make dp-1 primary

In Hyprland, workspaces do not define the primary monitor. Many games and apps choose the first monitor announced by wlroots. To make DP-1 primary, list it first in your monitor configuration.

i suggest you to used gamescope for that.

example: gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 165 -f -- %command% checkout and research about that

thats the hyprctl monitors output
first my primary monitor is the one in front and my secondary is left so when i listed my primary monitor first in my conf (monitor=DP-1,2560x1440@170.0,0x0,1.0
monitor=HDMI-A-1,1920x1080@144.0,2560x0,1.0) my secondary became in the right so i did this
(monitor=DP-1,2560x1440@170.0,0x0,1.0
monitor=HDMI-A-1,1920x1080@144.0,-1920x0,1.0) and now its in the left but my primary one isnt primary and gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 170 -f -- %command% dont work

If you are using Steam for gaming, check the list monitors with this command:

xrandr --listmonitors

If HDMI-A-1 is set on 0 and DP-1 is set on 1

try to run this command:

xrandr --output DP-1 --primary

This should be set DP-1 as primary monitor for xwayland application.
