Hi, I just installed Valetudo on an Eureka J15 Pro Ultra - and it worked great.

After a few days it aparently turned on the camera-light while cleaning (I came home to find it illuminated) - and thus far I was completely unable to turn it off.

Here's what I tried:

• Turn off the camera-light via valetudo (the option is there, but does not actually turn off the light)
• Turn off the camera-light via the REST-API (although I think this disables the capability, not the light itself?)
• Restart the robot
• Turn the robot off, wait for a few hours, then start it again
• Reset Valetudo
• Factory-Reset the bot (connect-button + return-button pressed for a few seconds)

Right now I'm exploring the bot via SSH to figure out how to control the camera light from there.

So far I found /sys/class/leds/mmc0\:\:/ - but it was already set to 0 brightness (and changing it to 255 and back to 0 again did not do anything).

Also there's a process running that may configure the light - but killing it did not have any effect either (it's just restarted, without the light doing anything):

I found a bunch of GPIO pins - but they are related to the camera, not the light:

/proc/device-tree/pinctrl/cam/

/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/pinctrl/camera-power

Has anyone encountered something similar? Any advice what I could try or any pointers where to look?

How exactly does it behave when rebooting?
Do the LEDs turn on the moment power is available, or do they turn on some time after bootup?

They turn on while booting, ~4sec after the buttons start blinking

Honestly, I'd just file it as a hardware issue.
I'm not 100% sure how that can happen, but my guess would be that the component controlling them failed in a way that permanently delivers power to them.

Wouldn't surprise me given what else I've seen from their robots at this time.
