The latent heat flux term is missing from the calculation of the derivative of the energy imbalance. This needs to be added in the function that updates temperatures and it also likely requires calculating the latent heat flux internally rather than taking the outputs from plants and hydrology model. I think it could be good to set the bounds, needs some experimenting.
