Note: the tasks below besides the first and last bullet point fall into the "stretch" goal part of the project and may not be able to be completed, depending on how long other parts take

• GSOC Proposal Issue Tracking: Part 1 #349
• Use @localmem inside future kernel-based simulation functions to speed up memory access #354
• Add example of Multi-GPU simulation #355
• Add example and / or support for multi-node simulation #356
• Write blog post for JuliaHealth website documenting how simulation times were reduced
