Installing TeX tools on Ubuntu

I was following https://github.com/sisl/BayesNets.jl/blob/master/doc/BayesNets.ipynb (great tutorial btw) and ran into trouble getting the figures running.

I needed texlive-luatex, texlive-pictures, and texlive-xetex to get the figures generated. Just leaving this here in case anyone else finds it useful.
