1. On Delphi xe open ONLY one .pas file from project. Got Welcome +pas.
2. Open new RadSplit. Pas moved to RadSplit. Only Welcome and radsplit.
   3.Doc RadSplit.
   4.Close RadSplit.
   5.Pas DID NOT RETURN to WELCOME+pas. And most important Pas cannot
   be edit any more. It is open some ware .I have to close Delphi to use pas !!!!

P.S the problem is when there is only 1 pas file like new project.

Latest commit appears to resolve this issue!

I just down loaded the new version
It seen to be a mess on Delphi xe.
I cannot even understand what it dose.
I think ! it open a new BLANK huge EMPTY screen unmanageable.
Open another new one getting a message "forget it" and IDE closes!!!!

@limelect could you please provide step-by-step details of what you're doing and a clear description of the bad result?

Please be aware that different combinations of third-party plugins can cause different behavior, and also that I haven't been testing it on XE (lowest version I've tested on is XE2).

I agree that I need to provide a basic set of usage instructions (and illustrations) for this thing... and I'll do that ASAP!

1. Made a new project.Did not save yet.
2. When the form is shown pressed in View >NEW edit window
3. It open detached screen of the editor and a blank detached page(screen).
4. i re sized them both and put then together.
5. i put them above the welcome screen.
6. try to use some how the blank empty screen dose noting.not even mouse right button.
7. Now pressed in View >NEW edit window again open new 2 window one blank.
   and cannot!!!! dock it.
8. how ever this time ide OK.
   9 !!! any case it always open 2 pages one editor one blank.
9. why do i see msg freeing it ??

To answer your question... there's a bit of "dirty debug" code I forgot to remove which shows me a message when freeing it (sometimes it's difficult attaching the debugger to the IDE itself, so for small tests where just want to know WHEN something is happening, I stick a ShowMessage in there and delete it when I'm done).

Another question for you:
What plugins (if any) are you running?

The result you've described is exactly the same as I get with CnPack and/or MMX installed. It's an issue I'm still trying to resolve (and I will resolve it, that's for sure)

cnpack , gexpert and i am not sure how many more since i work with 2 compiler
7 and xe and by now i cannot pin point exactly which one is active.,since i have a lot of experts,even my own.
