wgrib dates back to 11/1994 when the 80286 was the dominant PC cpu. Make was a UNIX command and not everywhere. C was a strange language. To make life easier for the users, I had a script that combined the *.h and *.c files and created the file "wgrib.c". This made compiling easy for users. The source code in the wgrib directory should changed to the *.h and *.c files in order to fix the warning when compiling wgrib.
