Disable Vercel

I don't understand why I need to log into vercel to run this app locally with a local openai key.

Can you remove this?

It is using vercel/node as backend to build api, which I don't find vercel provides way to run it without linking to cloud.

What is vercel doing that you can't do locally? I'm a BE developer so I'm not super familiar with what vercel brings to the table that can't be done locally.
