ebuild uptodate wanted

Ebuild from https://github.com/cloc3/OpenBoard doesn't install, because of qtwebkit missing on gentoo.
Is there any chance to have an ebuild working for now please?

The next version 1.7.0 is expected to be released in mid of December. This version is based on QWebEngine instead of QWebKit and I assume it will again build for Gentoo.

The master branch currently contains the release candidate and there will not be much changes until release (probably only the version number).

@cloc3: Will you update your ebuild when the new version is released?

In the meantime the Flatpak of OpenBoard could be an option.

Thank you for these responses. Everything is clear. I actually managed to get an ebuild compiled. I'm not very "flatpak"

now a new ebuild is available for version 1.7.0 at https://github.com/cloc3/OpenBoard .

it's an amateur ebuild, but it is working quite well.
at the moment, only qt5 support is available.

Also qt6 quazip support is added for 1.7.0 version.

The actual 1.7.0 doesn't compile anymore after recent gentoo updates

The most recent Poppler version requires c++20. Maybe @cloc3 is already looking into this?

The CMake build system got a configuration variable to set the compiler standard version. See #961.

BTW: It is better to open a new issue instead of appending a comment to a closed issue. You will get more visibility then.
