Video Call in Application Window can't access to microphone and camera 4.9.0 and newer

Describe the bug

Starting from 4.9.0 version no access to microphone and camera.
In 4.8.1 and earlier (4.5.0) all work fine!
Using latest Jisti Meet
jitsi-meet/stable,now 2.0.10590-1
jitsi-videobridge2/stable,now 2.3-259-g22868ff7d-1

How to Reproduce

Start Video Call
Try to enabe Mic or Camera
Error. (White diode near camera show usage but no picture on a screen)

Thanks for reporting this issue — I’m interested in helping investigate and potentially fixing it.

I’m currently looking into the changes introduced between Desktop App versions 4.8.1 → 4.9.0, especially around:

• Electron version upgrades
• Media permissions (getUserMedia)
• Jitsi Meet integration inside the Application Window

I’ll try to reproduce this on Windows/Linux and check whether this is related to Electron sandboxing or permission handling changes.

If no one is actively working on this, I’d be happy to continue investigating and submit a PR once I have a clearer root cause.
